Frank Mwenifumbo has today resigned from the Alliance for Democracy-AFORD. It is not yet clear if he has the intention to contest in Karonga Central by-election following the death of Honourable Cornelius Mwalwanda who succumbed to COVID-19 a few weeks ago.
He said it is not proper to begin talking of such now; adding he is currently mourning Mwalwanda and he shall communicate about his political future in due course.
However there has been rumours circulating on social media that he is more likely to join UTM while others are saying he is heading for MCP with the idea of reclaiming the vacant seat of Karonga Central in parliament.
