Good news as Malawi football starlet Peter Banda is expected to extend his contract at Moldovan top league side Sheriff Tirraspor.
The lad is on a six months loan from Super League side Big Bullets. His loan was supposed to expire at the end of the season.
However Sheriff`s management feel Banda is too good to be released thus planning to prolong the deal.
Some reports indicate that the Moldovan giants plan to offer him a permanent deal. Rumour has it that he could be given a 5-years contract.
Peter has been in sparkling form at the club. One of his remarkable achievements is a hat-trick he claimed in his side`s demolition of an opposing team last month.
His impressive performance has earned him a place in the senior national team. During Flames African Cup of Nations qualifier against South Sudan, he was voted man of the match.
At the European club, he plays alongside his countryman Charles Petro.
