The former British Prime Minister Tony Blair will work with the Malawi government again as an adviser to the president. Blair will set up a governance office at the State House.
Written on his official website, the Blair Institute, it is said that he is looking at setting up a project that will aim at aiding the Malawi government to robust its strength in delivery and implemantation of policies.
The Tony Blair Africa Initiative had priviously set us a similar office during the Joyce Banda administration but shut down due to the infamous Cashgate scandal.
The Blair institute intends to boost connections with other key ministries and agencies such as ministry of Finance and Economic Planning.
