Covid-19 is only real in sports- Malawians cry out

Sports loving Malawians have cried out loud to the government for imposing strict Covid-19 restrictions in the field.

This follows an announcement that the Flames will play in an empty Kamuzu Stadium, during their friendly game against Zimbabwe on 11th October.

People claim that the government is denying them entertainment which comes in form of sports. According to the concerned party, the government is favouring other sectors like religion and music.

True to their sentiments, musicians organize live shows and church gatherings are running smoothly amidst the pandemic.

For instance Sand Music Festival which attracts huge patronage, will take place at Livingstonia Beach in Salima despite the health risk.
