Vice President Saulos Chilima has called upon the international community to invest in the country at the Malawi day during the Expo 2020.
Malawi`s deputy leader who is representing President Lazarus Chakwera has spoken highly of Malawi as an ideal place for investing owing to its peace and tranquility.
Chilima said, everything is well in Malawi. He said, “In short, everything in Malawi is an opportunity.”
In reaction to the news, some Malawians have supported the vice president`s call. They believe Malawi is really an ideal place for investment.
Malumbo Gondwe said, “This is quite true. Malawi is very virgin for investments. No real competitions exist.”
After attending the expo, Chilima will attend the Comesa heads of state summit in Egypt, also to represent Chakwera.
