Lilongwe based Super League outfit Silver Strikers is on honeymoon in the campaign following an impressive performance last weekend.
The bankers were on a mission to collect maximum points in the Southern Region from Zomba soldiers Red Lions and Blantyre boys Ntopwa FC.
Their efforts were not wasted as they accomplished the mission with a 1 nil win against the soldiers at Mpira Stadium, before thumping the ghetto boys by 3 goals to nil.
After collecting maximum points, the Daniel Kabwe charges were all smiles on their return to the capital as they kept a tight grip at the top of the league table.
The bankers have 28 points from twelve games, seconded by Civo Service United who have 24 points from the same number of games. Nyasa Big Bullets are sitting third with 22 points from eleven games.
Anchoring the table are Mzuzu Warriors who have only managed 8 points from eleven game.
