Malawi is on the verge of exporting some of its players to European clubs following their impressive show at the African Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
According to reports midfielders Francisco Madinga, Zebron Kalima, and Defender Lawrence Chaziya are likely to join teams in Sweeden, Malaysia, and France respectively.
Out of the trio, Madinga is the only one based in Europe. He plies his trade with Georgian top league side FC Dira Gori.
Kalima and Chaziya play for silver Strikers and Civo Sporting Club respectively. All players have been in good form for the national team.
Analysts have argued that the Flames` impressive show at the tournament will open doors for more players.
At the moment, Malawi has only two Europe-based players, Madinga and Charles Petro who plays for Moldovan Giants Sheriff Tiraspol.
