Malawian forward Yamikani Chester is enjoying his game at Las Vegas Lights FC in the United States of America Championship.
The Flames player had worn his scoring boots in yesterday’s encounter against Los Angeles Galaxy. The former Azam Tigers and Mighty BEforward Wanderers player netted the second of the game.
However it was not enough to salvage a point as his side went on to suffer a 3-2 home loss. His impact in the game was not only felt when he found the back of the net but through out the match.
The Malawian star has been in good form since joining Las Vegas Lights from North Carolina FC at the beginning of the campaign, a few months ago. In his 6 appearances for the Lights so far, the 26 year old has scored 3 goals, provided 2 assists and has won 1 man of the match honour.
Soccer loving Malawians expect him to replicate his club performance in national assignments. Chester is rated as a less influential player when on duty for the Flames.
